  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport personnel or goods to designated locations, ensuring timely and safe arrival.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Plan and execute delivery routes, adhering to schedules and deadlines. May use navigation technology to find optimal routes.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage as needed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle checks, such as inspecting fluids, tires, and lights. Clean the vehicle regularly and report any issues or required maintenance to management.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate transportation logs and other required paperwork, such as delivery receipts.
  • Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and passengers, and address any queries related to the journey.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Licensing: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Experience: Previous professional driving experience is often preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills are needed.
  • Physical Ability: The physical ability to lift objects over 50 pounds and work long hours, sometimes in different weather conditions, may be required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with local roads, traffic laws, and GPS technology is important.
  • Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor are expected.
