Key Responsibilities


• Architect, develop, and maintain Python-based microservices using FastAPI


• Containerize services for development and testing with Docker


• Integrate large language model APIs with function calling for advanced agent behaviors


• Design and implement distributed microservice patterns to support collaborating agents


• Plan and prototype text vectorization features for future roadmap initiatives


• Build RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations


• Lead prompt engineering efforts and develop reusable prompt templates


• Author clear, maintainable code in Visual Studio Code using GitHub Copilot


• Document design decisions, workflows, and operational runbooks

Education & Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience


• Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline preferred


• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience in Python (10 years preferred)

What We Are Looking For


• Expertise in FastAPI and production-grade Docker workflows


• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs via API, including function calling architectures


• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservice design patterns


• Familiarity with text embedding and vectorization techniques


• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation


• Comfort using Visual Studio Code and GitHub Copilot as core development tools


• Solid foundation in prompt engineering and agent-centric design concepts


• Familiarity with agentic design concepts and orchestration patterns (e.g. LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK)
