  1. Analyze raw material, labor, overhead, and production costs.
  2. Track and allocate production costs across various manufacturing processes.
  3. Develop and maintain detailed product costing models, considering factors like ingredients, packaging, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
  4. Ensure proper allocation of indirect costs (e.g., utilities, depreciation, factory maintenance).
  5. Update cost structures regularly to reflect changes in raw material prices, labor rates, or manufacturing processes.
  6. Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to analyze pricing strategies.
  7. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting the cost of goods sold (COGS) and gross margin analysis.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, marketing, and sales to ensure accurate cost data.

Other qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, cost behavior, and product costing methods.
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the cosmetics or consumer goods industries.
  • Familiarity with production processes specific to cosmetics (e.g., formulation, packaging, quality control).
  • Willing to work On-site Monday to Friday.
  • Amenable to work in Novaliches, Quezon City.
