Job Responsibilities

The role of a BIM/Revit Lead entails leading and coordinating projects, with a particular focus on managing the delivery of MEP Revit models for construction projects. This involves working closely with the MEP UK engineering team to ensure smooth project management and delivery. In addition to managing and delivering MEP Revit models for construction projects, the BIM/Revit Lead is also responsible for coordinating and supporting the MEP Revit team. This includes providing technical assistance and mentoring to team members as needed to ensure timely and accurate delivery of models for a range of projects, including commercial, residential, and public buildings.

• Lead the implementation of BIM processes on construction projects.
• Collaborate with UK MEP engineering and UK / India Revit teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of models.
• Ensure all drawings and models are accurate, coordinated, and up to date.
• Manage and organize project files and data.
• Provide technical support to project teams.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
• Review and analyse MEP construction documents and designs.
• Attend project meetings and provide input and feedback as required.
• Train and mentor junior Revit staff.
• Improve and implement company BIM processes and workflows

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Over 5 years of experience in MEP BIM coordination for UK / US / Middle East construction projects.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, materials, and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior BIM staff
• Knowledge of BIM principles & experience working on BIM level 2 projects.
• Understanding of continuous improvement principles.
• Exposure to BIM360, CDE's & other MEP design software
• Knowledge of COBie.
• Knowledge of Dynamo
