Accountant role for Cebu City office, Australian Client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintaining effective communication with clients and vendors.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance, utilizing your expertise in Australian tax regulations to ensure adherence to current laws.
  • Reconcile bank statements, manage cash flow, and prepare monthly financial reports for senior management review.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Support financial audits and assist in the development of internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Accountant or in a similar accounting role, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Australian tax regulations is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
