Reports To: Merchandising Manager

Job Level Required: Proven work experience in sales or business administration for at least 1-2 years experience in marketing ,merchandising, sales analysis, or related administrative roles.

Office Location: Cogon Ramos, Cebu City (landmark: near Sacred Heart Center)

Salary & Benefits:

• 25,000-30,000 monthly depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The Marketing and Merchandising Analyst provides administrative and analytical support to the merchandising and sales team by preparing sales and inventory reports, monitoring product performance, creating and developing marketing and merchandising programs, and executing marketing and merchandising plans. This role ensures timely and accurate data for decision-making, supports planning and implementation activities, and coordinates with internal teams and external suppliers — including preparing and aligning business reviews, presentations, and regular meetings — to achieve marketing and merchandising objectives in compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Reporting & Analysis

• Generate regular and ad-hoc sales, marketing, and merchandising reports based on management requirements.
• Consolidate data for product performance, sell-through rates, and stock movement.
• Create and maintain dashboards to visualize marketing and merchandising performance, sales trends, and inventory status.
• Provide data analysis to support decision-making and forecasting.
• Track performance and sales impact of both marketing and merchandising-initiated and principal-initiated programs.
• Analyze results and provide recommendations for improving future marketing, merchandising, and promotional activities.

2. Planning & Strategy Development

• Prepare data to support marketing and merchandising strategies, product launches, and promotions.
• Prepare marketing and merchandising plans, timelines, and product allocation schedules.
• Create and implement marketing and merchandising programs such as flash sales, promotional events, and discount offers.
• Develop both marketing and merchandising-initiated and principal-initiated programs for the sales department.

3. Coordination & Implementation

• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and the sales team for timely product availability and delivery readiness.
• Track and monitor the implementation of marketing and merchandising activities in stores.
• Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Merchandising, and Warehouse) to ensure alignment on marketing and merchandising plans, programs, and timelines.
• Communicate with external partners and suppliers (principals, distributors, and vendors) regarding product availability, promotional guidelines, and programs and corresponding implementation.
• Coordinate and prepare for business reviews, presentations, and regular meetings with suppliers, ensuring all necessary data, analysis, and materials are ready.
• Provide timely updates and feedback between suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing, merchandising, and promotional activities.

4. Creative & Visual Merchandising

• Prepare planograms, product display guidelines, and marketing and merchandising instructions to support program execution.
• Create visual materials for marketing and merchandising use with CANVA or similar graphic design tools.

5. Incentives & Documentation Management

• Compile monthly principal-initiated program incentives data for sales or merchandising staff.
• Process incentive-related documents and requirements.
• Validate compiled data before submitting to the Finance Department for final review and release.
• Maintain organized records of reports, approvals, and related documentation for auditing and reference purposes.

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all merchandising programs, displays, and promotional activities comply with company, principal, and industry regulations.

7. OTHERS

• Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Sales or Business Administration course, or related field.

COMPETENCY SKILL:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and dashboard creation tools.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and product display standards.
• Skilled in Canva or similar graphic design tools for the creation of marketing and merchandising materials.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when dealing with suppliers and internal teams.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
