Position: Accounting Officer I Supervisor / Finance Manager

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Midshift (starting 10:00 AM)

Location: Batangas and Calabarzon

Qualification: Open for CPA/NON-CPA

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting or Finance Manager to lead our local finance operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership skills and a solid background in both financial management and accounting operations. This role will collaborate closely with the finance team in Buffalo, New York, ensuring smooth month-end closings and compliance across all financial processes.Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including general ledger management, transaction posting, banking, and online taxation.

Manage PEZA filings and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Handle monthly and year-end financial closing in coordination with the U.S. finance team.

Lead, coach, and manage the local accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare and analyze ManCom reports for both the Philippine and U.S. management teams.

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss management to support business goals.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting through Odoo ERP.

Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

Exercise initiative and independent judgment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred but not required.

Proven experience in a finance or accounting managerial role, preferably within a multinational or shared services setup.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and online taxation tools.

Familiar with PEZA compliance and local regulatory requirements.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
