The Accounting Manager oversees the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting. This role works closely with finance and operations to support the company's financial health, cost efficiency, and profitability in the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.
  • Oversee inventory accounting and costing of food, beverage, and supplies.
  • Monitor internal controls, implement accounting policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support cost accounting activities to track food cost, labor cost, and operational expenses.
  • Lead, train, and develop the accounting team to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve business processes and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Solid background in accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting (F&B or hospitality industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work onsite: Cubao, Quezon City
