About the Team
The Country Planning team drives strategic planning and operational support across multiple business verticals, shaping overall business strategy and ensuring seamless execution. The team leads key growth initiatives, manages organizational transformation projects, and coordinates with regional teams on product, sustainability, and risk-related programs.
About the Role
This role requires a self-starter who can take ownership of high-impact strategic projects. You will drive direction, strategy, and execution for multiple initiatives simultaneously, collaborating across functions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will work on projects such as:
Loyalty Program Strategy & Execution
- Define long-term vision, value proposition, pricing, and tiering for programs.
- Drive go-to-market plans to increase subscriber growth, retention, and engagement.
- Establish KPIs, build dashboards, and lead regular business reviews with leadership.
Incubating New Businesses
- Develop strategies and execution plans for pilot programs.
- Conduct business viability assessments, financial projections, and define MVP scopes.
- Codify playbooks to enable pilot scale-up.
Country Planning Support
- Oversee organizational transformation efforts covering people, processes, and policies.
- Work closely with the Country Head on strategic and operational priorities.
Regional Program Support (ESG, Product, Risk/Audit)
- Lead sustainability initiatives and measure progress (e.g., carbon footprint, inclusion efforts).
- Strengthen product and operational risk controls while managing audit and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Design, manage, and deliver strategic and tactical projects.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and escalation points using RACI frameworks.
- Ensure timely delivery and resolve roadblocks proactively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Align with diverse teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate leadership discussions and communicate insights effectively.
- Drive consensus on direction, risks, and next steps.
Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis
- Conduct analyses to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Provide structured recommendations backed by strong analytical reasoning.
QualificationsMust-Haves
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to provide data-driven recommendations and structure complex problems.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, semi-structured environment.
- Self-starter with strong ownership and the ability to work independently.
- Passionate about enabling positive impact in emerging markets.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in corporate planning, management consulting, or an MBA.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics with an excellent academic record.
- Strong analytics skills (SQL and/or Python).
- Background in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
