Assistant Deal Manager

What You'll Be Doing
*Account Management & Communication
- Oversee and manage two (2) teams (Communications and Seller Call Coordinator Teams).
- Monitor Partner statuses and ensure teams are handling assigned tasks properly.
- Conduct regular meetings with Communications and Seller Call Coordinator Teams alongside the Deal Manager to review deal status and challenges.
- Process end-of-day (EOD) email and Slack reviews to ensure no communication gaps.
* Deal Pipeline Management
- Monitor the CRM system or trackers, ensuring information is accurate and updated.
- Verify tasks and follow-ups are completed based on our SLAs.
- Review pending deals for completeness and follow up with the handled teams when needed.
- Track deals and coordinate with the Communications and Seller Call Coordinator Teams as needed.
- Assist the Deal Manager in preparing and updating updates.
* Broker & Seller Relations
- Act as a point of contact for questions about broker/partner communications.
- Support the Deal Manager in resolving escalated concerns regarding broker and seller calls.
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers and sellers to facilitate smooth deal flow.
* Auditing & Compliance
- Audit Partner Slack channels and emails to ensure response times meet SLAs:
- Respond within 3 hours during business hours.
- Follow up with partners within 24 hours if action is needed.
- Follow up with brokers/sellers every 48 hours when awaiting replies.
- Review team's EOD reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor CRM or partner emails to confirm required follow-ups are completed.
* Coverage & Support
- Provide backup support during team absences.
- Assist the Deal Manager with ad-hoc analysis, audits, and presentations.
* Performance Tracking
- Track and report response times to communications.
- Ensure sourcing targets and pipeline management goals are met.
- Evaluate process efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Submit weekly and regular performance reports to the Deal Manager.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in deal coordination, account management, project management, or a related role (M&A/finance experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, and deal tracker tools.
- Proven organizational and auditing skills with strict attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, partners, and communication channels.
- Experience in remote work with high standards of accountability and independence.
