Role Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing intuitive, performant web applications using React. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ship production-ready features, ensure UI consistency, and contribute to the technical evolution of our product. This role offers the flexibility to expand into backend work (especially in Python and AWS) if you're interested, but frontend expertise is the primary focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write modular, reusable, and clean code that is easily testable, along with writing the tests.
  • Take ownership, make decisions, and create value for a project with minimal input and oversight.
  • Reference existing features and design language to build new features without a mockup.
  • Focus on shipping working solutions for end users, including testing features from the user perspective, and improving the UX.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure that new features are testable.
  • Work with the product team to ensure that upcoming changes are feasible.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as a full-stack developer with modern Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Python Django.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Proficiency in React, , or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Kafka and Redis or similar technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably PostgreSQL. Ability to design database tables and debug slow queries.
  • Champion of modern Python features such as async/await, type-hints, data classes, and pydantic.
  • Familiar with modern cloud service providers, such as AWS or Azure, Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Knowledgeable in using REST APIs to communicate with external services.
  • Self-motivated and eager to work in a startup environment, assuming significant responsibility and autonomy.

Bonus:
Backend experience with Python/Django, AWS, and CI/CD tooling

Please note this is a home based role working US hours
