About the role

Zapps' is seeking a talented Senior Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that drive our business forward. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design and develop robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  3. Optimize application performance, security, and reliability
  4. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development practices

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Fullstack Developer, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies
  2. Proficient in JavaScript, , , and related frameworks and libraries
  3. Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwrite) and CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
  4. Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as SQL and MongoDB
  5. Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB, including database design and optimisation
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  8. A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  10. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  11. Must have legal right to work in the Philippines or valid work permit
