QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be graduate and of BS Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • At least 1 year of work-related experience
  • Willing to work on site

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • System Design and Planning: Design and plan mechanical systems for construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems.
  • Coordination with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with architects, CIVIL engineers. and other professionals to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall construction designs.
  • Material and Equipment Selection: Research, evaluate, and select appropriate materials and equipment for mechanical systems, considering cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and project requirements.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure that mechanical designs comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations. Stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Cost Estimation: Provide input for cost estimation and budgeting related to mechanical systems, considering construction and installation costs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of mechanical systems throughout construction projects.

Manage project timelines, milestones, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of mechanical systems, address any issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability, safety, and functionality of mechanical systems. Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documentation. including drawings, specifications, and reports. Maintain accurate records of project documentation.
  • Risk assessment: Oversee preventive maintenance of heavy equipment, pumps and motors. Conducts routine inspection for mechanical equipment of Eternal Groups to avoid/lessen interruption on the operations.
  • Performs all other related duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
