Job Overview:

A Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating visually appealing displays and layouts that enhance the customer shopping experience. The role requires an individual to understand the brand's aesthetic, customer behavior, and market trends to effectively showcase products. Visual Merchandisers work closely with store managers, designers, and marketing teams to develop strategies that increase store traffic, improve sales, and strengthen brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement eye-catching product displays for windows, in-store, and promotional events.
  • Ensure product displays are visually appealing, well-organized, and accessible to customers.
  • Store Layout and Floor Plan Management
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to implement seasonal campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences and trends based on display performance.
  • Monitor Product Placement and Stock Levels
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, company standards, and industry best practices in visual merchandising
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new merchandising techniques.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of visual merchandising displays and make necessary adjustments based on customer response and sales data.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar retail environment.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar retail environment
  • Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of retail design, customer behavior, and brand image.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D visualization software
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or related field preferred
