DC Implementation Site Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The DC Implementation Site Engineer is responsible for the on-site execution of power-related projects, including COLO, Site Expansion Projects and New Smart Solutions. This role focuses on technical implementation, troubleshooting, and compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Reporting to the DC Implementation Supervisor, the Site Engineer ensures that all construction, installation, and commissioning activities are completed efficiently, following the approved plans and schedules.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. On-Site Execution & Supervision

o Implements power system installations, ensuring adherence to design specifications and

safety regulations.

o Conducts daily site inspections to monitor construction quality, equipment installation,

and progress.

o Troubleshoots technical issues on-site and escalates complex problems to the

Supervisor for resolution.

o Ensures all tasks are performed in compliance with workplace health, safety, and

environmental (WHSE) standards.

o Supports the Supervisor in ensuring that vendors and contractors follow agreed project

timelines and quality standards.

2. Compliance & Quality Assurance

o Performs testing and commissioning of installed power equipment, ensuring systems

function as required.

o Conducts pre-installation and post-installation checks, reporting deviations or defects.

o Verifies that installations meet safety and performance standards before handover.

o Ensures that all necessary permits and regulatory requirements are met at the site level.

3. Coordination & Documentation

o Works closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical

concerns.

o Attends site meetings and provide updates on daily progress, challenges, and risk

mitigation measures.

o Maintains accurate site records, including work logs, material usage reports, and issue

tracking reports.

o Ensures timely submission of RFTI (Ready for Testing & Inspection) documentation for

approval.

4. Material Handling & Resource Allocation

o Receives and inspects materials delivered to site/s, ensuring compliance with project

specifications.

o Reports shortages, damages, or defects to the Supervisor for resolution.

o Manages proper storage, handling, and utilization of project materials to minimize

wastage.

5. Support in Handover & Final Inspections

o Assists in final walkthroughs, inspections, and snag list resolutions before project

handover.

o Provides technical input during project close-out meetings to identify lessons learned and

areas for improvement.

o Ensures that CFEI (Certificate of Final Equipment Installation) requirements are

completed and submitted.

6. Performs other tasks, as assigned, from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications in Health & Safety (ISO or Power Systems, optional but preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in power project implementation for B2S, with hands-on experience in power system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, DC power equipment, and site testing procedures.
• Familiarity with quality control processes, project documentation, and WHSE regulations.
• Strong project management skills to track progress and ensure on-time task completion with proficiency in using project tracking tools and documentation systems.
• With keen attention to details for quality assurance, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work effectively with internal teams and
• vendors.
• Field-based role requiring on-site presence at construction locations.
• May involve travel to multiple project sites and occasional extended work hours.
• Requires adherence to strict safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month
