About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or related fields, with strong skills in data analysis, cost monitoring, and reporting. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate landed costing, profitability analysis, and cost control to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute landed cost of items on a per-shipment basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and maintain Sales Profitability Summaries (SPS) on a per-project basis, including variance analysis and actualization.
  • Monitor and analyze historical data of landed costs and purchase prices, highlighting trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with accurate cost and profitability data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, and Operations to provide cost insights.
  • Assist in month-end closing, reconciliations, and preparation of management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or management accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of cost analysis, profitability reporting, and standard accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
