About the role

QQ English is seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator to join our team in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. As a full-time IT Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our company's internal network infrastructure. This critical role ensures the smooth and secure operation of our IT systems, supporting our employees and enabling the delivery of our innovative language learning services.

What you'll be doing

  1. Configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  2. Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal uptime
  3. Implementing and managing security measures to protect our network and data from cyber threats
  4. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees
  5. Documenting network configurations, policies, and procedures
  6. Collaborating with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions
  7. Staying up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Network Administrator or a similar role
  2. Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and equipment (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
  3. Proficiency in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  4. Familiarity with network security best practices and the ability to implement them
  5. Experience in managing and supporting Windows and Linux-based systems
  6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
