Accounting & Tax Specialist (1 year contract w/extension)

  • Assist with routine accounting operations such as journal entries, invoice handling, and financial reporting.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Japanese management, local branch accounting staff, external auditors, and tax consultants.
  • Support in areas such as JV accounting, ODA-related taxation, and liaison with client-side accounting personnel.
  • Prepare, check, and organize accounting and tax-related documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as required.
  • Provide ad-hoc accounting and administrative support to the Chief Accountant and Japanese expatriates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to taxation in Infrastructure projects and project-based environments.
  • High intelligence and problem-solving ability; can think logically and independently.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, particularly in English (both written and verbal).
  • Proactive and confident in handling discussions with various parties (Japanese and local).
  • Open to a 6-day work schedule (Monday to Saturday).

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday (8am - 5pm)
  • Saturday (half-day only)

Note: After joining, He/She must report to Ortigas for training then depending on the situation of the Project site, workplace might be paranaque or ortigas or project site.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
