Job Title: Head Teacher / Lead Teacher (Playgroup and Enrichment Programs)
Job Summary:

As a
Head Teacher / Lead Teacher

at Kidscelence, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the successful planning, implementation, and quality assurance of our Playgroup and Enrichment Programs. In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will supervise educators, manage curriculum development, support program promotion, and ensure a positive experience for both children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
Head Teacher / Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of teachers to maintain high-quality program delivery and child engagement.
• Plan and assign teaching schedules, class responsibilities, and team leads.
• Check and proofread all lesson plans and activity sheets for accuracy, developmental appropriateness, and alignment with curriculum goals.
• Oversee the planning and coordination of excursions, special events, and seasonal celebrations.
• Communicate with clients and parents in a timely and professional manner to address inquiries, provide updates, and build positive relationships.
• Help promote Kidscelence programs by:
• Supporting the
  monthly theme promotions

and communicating highlights to parents.
- Taking photos and documenting class activities

for storytelling and marketing use (with consent).
- Liaising with the marketing team

to share stories, successes, and content from the classroom.Participating in promotional campaigns, open houses, or external events representing Kidscelence.
- Support smooth classroom operations and foster a collaborative environment among staff.
- Organize and lead regular teacher meetings to ensure alignment, planning consistency, and staff development.
- Monitor classroom practices and provide coaching or feedback for instructional improvement.
- Supervise and train new teachers during onboarding

, ensuring they understand Kidscelence standards, teaching flow, classroom routines, and expectations.

Playgroup Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct playgroup sessions designed to support children's holistic development.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that foster sensory exploration, communication, and motor skills.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
• Support positive parent-child interactions and provide early childhood development insights as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with parents

regarding class activities, routines, and updates.
- Prepare and provide progress reports

to keep parents informed of their child's development and learning journey.

Enrichment Program Teacher Responsibilities:

Design and facilitate engaging enrichment classes (e.g.,Young Artists, Storytelling and Art, Young Scientist).

• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression through hands-on projects and interactive lessons.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Build a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
• Offer guidance and constructive feedback to support skill-building and confidence.
• Collaborate with other educators to coordinate and align program content.

Assist other teachers in enrichment programs when needed

(e.g., support during performance-based programs such as
Stage Stars

or other classes).
