Full-Time Faculty Member – Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Job Summary:

STI College Marikina is looking for a passionate, innovative, and dedicated full-time faculty member to join our dynamic academic team in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction, promoting hands-on learning, and fostering a growth mindset in students pursuing ICT-related programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and facilitate hands-on activities based on STI's standardized courseware, which includes ready-made syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
  • Ensure high-quality, student-centered instruction in ICT subjects such as Programming, Networking, Web Development, Database Management, and related fields
  • Apply effective teaching methodologies and classroom strategies to help students master practical and theoretical ICT competencies
  • Monitor, assess, and support student learning and performance in alignment with academic guidelines and institutional standards
  • Engage in academic advising, mentoring, and student development initiatives
  • Collaborate with fellow faculty, department heads, and school administrators in academic-related events, training, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in faculty development programs to stay updated with emerging technologies and teaching best practices
  • · Promote STI's core values and uphold academic excellence and integrity in all aspects of instruction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related ICT field (Master's Degree or units is a plus)
  • LET passer or equivalent teaching eligibility is preferred
  • With relevant industry experience and/or teaching experience in ICT programs
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), networking, mobile application development, and database systems
  • Passionate about education, mentorship, and student development
