Role Summary

The Data Engineer Lead will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions to support data generation, ingestion, processing, and analytics. This role requires strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, data governance, and GenAI enablement using Snowflake's native capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Architecture & Engineering

  • Lead and implement end-to-end Snowflake solutions covering ingestion, storage, transformation, and access layers
  • Design and deploy solutions using Snowflake's latest features and best practices
  • Build reusable frameworks, UDFs, and components using Snowpark and SQL scripting
  • Develop high-performance, scalable pipelines using Snowflake-native features and modern ELT tools
  • Establish and manage data governance, security models, RBAC, and data masking policies aligned with compliance standards
  • Perform performance tuning, workload monitoring, and continuous optimization

GenAI Enablement

  • Enable GenAI use cases using Snowflake's native AI capabilities
  • Implement Snowflake Cortex AI features with custom workflows and business logic.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with leadership experience in Snowflake implementations
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake internals, including performance tuning, clustering, and caching
  • Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake scripting
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Hands-on experience with advanced Snowflake features such as Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe Streaming, and Snowflake Cortex AI
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business context
  • Certification: SnowPro Core Certified (mandatory)

Non-Negotiables

  • 8+ years of Data Engineering experience with clear Snowflake leadership exposure
  • Hands-on Snowflake expertise (architecture, performance tuning, clustering, caching)
  • Snowflake implementation experience end-to-end (ingestion → transformation → access)
  • Advanced Snowflake features (Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe Streaming, Cortex AI)
  • Strong SQL + Snowflake scripting experience
  • At least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • SnowPro Core Certification
  • GenAI / Cortex AI exposure within Snowflake

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php150,000.00 per month
