GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sr Billing Auditor is responsible for auditing and reviewing the billing processes at a granular level for the top 30 complex billing accounts though not limited to that population only. This role involves liaison with Operations site teams in evaluating all data collection and reporting points to ultimately preserve the integrity of the client's invoices and CBPS's financials.

  • Identify, research and evaluate complex and diverse financial and operational processes from site level through to invoicing
  • Conduct thorough audits of site billing processes and implement tools to improve efficiency
  • Identify incorrect and incomplete billing procedures, billing data or information, under/over billing, and work with the billing and operations team to correct or improve the data collection and reporting process
  • Liaison with Operations, IT or RPA teams to improve billing efficiency where necessary
  • Identify areas of risk for billing fraud, compliance issues, or revenue loss, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate these risks.
  • Present Monthly or quarterly status reports and recommendations to Finance and Operations management teams
  • Recommend new or improved policies and procedures to mitigate risks and reflect business needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a focus in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of financial and operational audit experience
  • Service Industry and/or international financial experience a plus
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and Presentation Software
  • Infinium/AS400
  • Must be a strategic/creative thinker and be results oriented
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of national business laws, accounting principles and reporting requirements
  • Must be able to use good judgment, be analytical and have strong decision-making skills
