JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Plant Manager , this position is responsible for the complex activities of chemical and/or physical analysis of materials and finished products, preparing standard solutions, keeping control of results and controlling stocks of materials and reagent and report preparation.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

· Manages the QC laboratory

· Ensures that Company's products meet the standard product quality specification.

· Sets up the necessary quality control schedule, procedure of test and test equipment to prevent product non-conformity.

· Enforces all company safety and housekeeping regulations in the laboratory.

· Ensures that work areas, tools and equipment are kept in a clean, safe and orderly condition.

· Coordinates Lab Personnel and equipment

· Collects and analyzes finished product sample (pertaining to all routine QC testing)

· Liaises with suppliers for equipment maintenance, testing, calibration and certification requirements

· To fulfill the Plant Operating Model (POM) practices, and prepare necessary updates

Documentation and Reporting:

· Conducts Daily QC Reporting

· Prepares Certificate of Analysis

· Records the Final QC Inspection Results

· Prepares and files QC quality records

· Prepares Quality Inspection Report and compilation of Raw Material Inspection record

Customer Quality Support

· Handles customer complaint about the product quality by providing/recommending solutions as well as ensuring implemented solution is verified.

· Ensures that no further processing, delivery of non-confirming product takes place until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

· Promotes customer requirements awareness throughout the company.

· Prepares samples for samples submission to customer

Quality

· Ensures effective operation of the Quality Management System and requirements

· Ensures all the quality procedures are updated whenever changes are made

· Conducts internal audit of the Company's Quality Management System

· Supports and provides technical services whenever required.

· Troubleshoots product quality problem together with production personnel.

· Ensures non-conforming product is promptly identified, segregated and properly managed and communicated to related departments

· Ensures product quality is maintained within specification based on in-process and finished goods testing

· Maintains the integrity of the Quality Control process and procedures

· Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time to facilitate continuous improvement

JOB SPECIFICATONS

•Graduate of BS Chemistry or Chemical Technology ( 4 year course)

•At least 3 years work experience in a laboratory setting and in a manufacturing environment

•Proven technical know how in handling the ff lab equipment (Data Color, Malvern 3000, Analytical Balance, Moisture Analyzer, Vulcan Furnace, Toploading Balance, Memmert Oven)

•With knowhow on Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory equipment maintenance protocols

•Proficient in data analysis, report writing and documentation

•Analytical, has attention to details and exercises good judgment

•Collaborates effectively with diverse team members

•Able to handle stress and manage stressors effectively.

•Computer literate

•With proven experience in people handling
