Accounts Payable Assistant Manager
The Accounts Payable Assistant Manager supports the management of the hotel's accounts payable operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This role assists in maintaining strong internal controls, supports financial reporting, and helps guide the accounts payable team to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-organized financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in overseeing the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, expense reimbursements, and other payable transactions.
- Support the maintenance of internal controls and compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review invoices for accuracy, assist in resolving discrepancies, and communicate with vendors as needed.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable, outstanding balances, and cash flow requirements for management review.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and financial audits.
- Provide guidance and support to accounts payable staff, assisting with training and workflow coordination as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance, with some experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity preferred.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
