I. PURPOSE

The Multi-Skilled Lead Technician leads and encourages maintenance teams responsible for repair and operation of electrical, plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning, carpentry, and other relevant building systems.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conducts regular rounds/inspection of all equipment and facilities while on duty.

· Oversees day-to-day operations of the maintenance team.

· Develops team schedule depending on repair and maintenance activities and ensures efficiency.

· Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy

· Ensures equipment is in good running condition. Otherwise, implement trouble shooting activities to rectify any noted defects.

· Reports to Maintenance Engineer/ Admin Manager any noted defects on the equipment, incidents and action taken to rectify the matter.

· Ensure that the operation of equipment conforms with the operating schedule in consonance to the energy management program.

· Operates and monitors operation of air-conditioning equipment, lightings, exhausts, etc.

· Accomplish Daily, Monthly, and Quarterly Activity equipment checklist and ensures proper implementation.

· Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

A. Minimum Education

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational Diploma/ Short Course TESDA Accredited Certificate on HVAC, Building Electrical System or Building Maintenance
  • With NC II Certification (Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent)
  • Supervisory skills
  • Knowledge in basic building auxiliary system (FDAS, Door Access and Control, CCTV) is an advantage

B. Minimum Experience/Training

  • Minimum of 1 year being maintenance team lead
  • Minimum 2 years of exposure in handling the repair and maintenance of HVAC, Building electrical wiring, Plumbing, Minor Carpentry and/or Building auxiliary systems (FDAS, CCTV, Door access)
