About the role

Join the dynamic logistics team at Hyundai Laguna Inc. as our new 2nd Hand In-charge. In this full-time position based in Binan City Laguna, you will play a crucial role in managing our pre-owned vehicle inventory and ensuring customer satisfaction. With your expertise in the rail and maritime transport industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition, inspection, and resale of our used vehicles, contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Sourcing and acquiring pre-owned vehicles through various channels, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
2. Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to assess condition, identify necessary repairs, and determine fair market values
3. Maintaining detailed records of vehicle inventory, sales, and financial data
4. Developing and implementing strategies to efficiently market and sell pre-owned vehicles to customers
5. Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process
6. Collaborating with the logistics and sales teams to optimise inventory management and meet customer demand
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve operations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the rail and maritime transport industry, with a strong background in used vehicle management
2. Excellent knowledge of vehicle inspection, appraisal, and sales processes
3. Proficient in data analysis and record-keeping to maintain accurate inventory and financial records
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex logistics and customer scenarios
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
6. Adaptability and a proactive approach to continuously improve processes and operations
