The Receiving Specialist is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming deliveries. This role ensures that all items received are in good condition, match purchase orders, and are properly recorded in the inventory system. The Receiving Specialist contributes to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse efficiency, and upholding company quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Ensure all received items are of correct quantity, quality, and specification; report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
  • Record and encode received goods accurately into the inventory management system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, and warehouse teams for delivery scheduling and issue resolution.
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of received materials in designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the receiving and warehouse areas.
  • Assist in regular inventory counts, reconciliation, and stock rotation.
  • Follow company procedures, warehouse policies, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:
  • College graduate, preferably with a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehousing, or inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and basic inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle warehouse activities.
