Position Summary
The Territory Sales Head – Motor Insurance (Agency Channel) will be responsible for leading the growth and performance of motor insurance sales through agency partners within the assigned geographic territory. This includes recruiting and developing insurance agents, driving premium sales, improving agent productivity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership
- Drive motor insurance premium growth by achieving territory-level targets.
- Develop and implement local sales strategies and campaigns aligned with national objectives.
- Monitor sales KPIs (e.g. issued premium, active agents, case size, conversion ratio).
Agency Development
- Recruit, license, and onboard new general insurance agents, especially for motor insurance products.
- Train agents on product features, sales techniques, underwriting guidelines, and digital tools.
- Increase agent productivity through regular coaching, field joint calls, and business planning.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with agents, sub-agents, and agency owners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency concerns, escalations, and support needs.
- Foster loyalty and promote long-term engagement with the ZenInsure brand.
Territory Planning & Market Expansion
- Identify underpenetrated areas and develop strategies to grow agent presence and customer reach.
- Organize local activation events, roadshows, and community engagement activities to support agency sales.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data and pipeline forecasts.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to support smooth policy issuance and claims resolution.
- Ensure all agents operate in compliance with Insurance Commission (IC) guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in general/motor insurance sales, preferably in agency distribution.
- Experience leading or managing a team or territory of insurance agents is required.
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, MS Excel, and digital tools for reporting and engagement.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills
- Licensed under the Insurance Commission for General Insurance is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for fieldwork and business development.
- Strong understanding of local motor vehicle markets and customer behavior.
- Experience working with dealers or multi-brand agencies is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
