Technical Encoder

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Encoder to join our engineering team. As a Technical Encoder, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently encoding technical data into our systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• · Accurately encode a high volume of technical data, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, into company systems.
• · Verify the accuracy and completeness of encoded data.
• · Convert paper documents into digital files.
• · Organize and maintain files and databases, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.
• · Assist in maintaining data integrity and security.
• · Perform regular data backup and recovery procedures.
• · Encode digital video data into appropriate formats for transmission or storage.
• · Encode multimedia content into a format that can be streamed or stored.

Skills and Qualifications

• · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology is preferred
• · Proven experience as an encoder or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• · Exceptional typing and data entry skills, with a minimum typing speed and accuracy of at least 40-50 words per minute with minimal errors.
• · Proficient computer skills, including a strong command of MS Office applications [Word, Excel, and Outlook].
• · Familiarity with data entry software and tools is a plus.
• · Excellent attention to detail, with a strong ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
• · Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• · Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• · Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
• · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• · Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• · Ability to use scanning tools and file management systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
