Job Description As Analytics Governance Manager for Data Acquisition, you will be the front-gate steward of enterprise data - ensuring every dataset entering our analytics ecosystem meets the highest standards of quality, governance, and compliance. You will lead the end-to-end process of onboarding new data sources, certifying Data Quality for Analytics (DQ4A), and aligning with enterprise data-management and governance frameworks.

This is a non-development leadership role: you will orchestrate people, processes, and technology, while engineering teams handle the actual builds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the data acquisition and DQ4A certification process, ensuring all new and changed data sources meet governance and quality requirements.

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve data acquisition processes, including change management and risk controls.

  • Coordinate with engineering, data governance, and business teams to define drivers, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation, lineage, and compliance records for audits and enterprise reporting.

  • Foster a culture of data discipline and risk awareness across stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 5 years data management, platform service delivery, or analytics experience

  • 3 yrs process management (design, implementation, change mgt)

  • 3 years of experience with implementing or managing enterprise-scale data warehouse or data management projects - understanding data tools

  • 3 years of enterprise scale data warehouse

  • Ability to understand the key drivers, dependencies and risks

  • Strong understanding of data tools (cleansing, master data management, metadata, etc.) and data quality policies and procedure

  • Meticulous attention to detail with an overall passion for discipline

  • Ability to understand and assess potential risk

  • Deep understanding of data governance, data management principles/processes

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • 3 years of experience managing people or leading project teams

  • 3 years of experience with implementing or managing enterprise-scale data warehouse or data management projects

  • Certification in relevant database and business intelligence

  • Understanding of billing, provisioning applications

  • Successful draft, implementation, and compliance auditing of a data governance policy
