Aligned Outsource, Inc. is seeking a qualified Accounting Manager - CPA for its client, a U.S. Based Accounting Firm.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our Client Accounting Services (Bookkeeping) department. This position involves managing a portfolio of client accounts, supervising staff, and providing strategic financial guidance to growing businesses. The position will serve as the primary contact for senior managers and partners internally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-service bookkeeping and accounting for a diverse client portfolio
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and bookkeepers
  • Prepare and review complex financial statements and management reports
  • Develop and implement accounting systems and internal controls for clients
  • Provide financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting services
  • Manage client and team relationships and serve as primary point of contact
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and improve client operations
  • Ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements and tax obligations
  • Lead special projects including system implementations and process improvements
  • Collaborate with tax and audit departments on client matters

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA designation (active license required)
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience working with US-based clients in an accounting firm environment (experience may include a combination of public accounting firm and private company experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Extensive experience with accounting software and cloud-based platforms
  • Proven leadership and staff management experience
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in small business accounting and operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA
  • Experience with ERP system implementations
  • Management advisory services experience
  • Industry specialization (construction, healthcare, non-profit, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel certification or similar technical credentials
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools

Work Environment:

  • Full time, employee status in the Philippines
  • In Person work location: Professional office location in Cebu City, within IT Park. This is a great team environment for professionals looking to join a thriving U.S. based accounting firm.
  • Must agree to hold this role exclusively, with no other projects or clients
  • Align to the organization's central time zone working hours (8 am – 5 pm CST)
