Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a bookkeeper to join our esteemed finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of accounting principles, coupled with exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments. This pivotal role will encompass overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring meticulous record-keeping, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record and reconcile daily sales, collections, operating expenses, and petty cash.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

  • Monitor customer balances and aging.
  • Follow up on collections and coordinate with Sales and Channel teams.
  • Record incoming payments and ensure proper application against invoices.
  • Prepare weekly AR aging reports for management review.

3. Accounts Payable (AP) Management

  • Verify supplier invoices, delivery receipts, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain AP aging and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding billing issues, discrepancies, and payment updates.
  • Prepare check vouchers, bank transfers, and payment summaries.

4. Inventory & Cost Monitoring

  • Support reconciliation of warehouse inventory and sales reports.
  • Verify costing sheets, landed cost computations, and pricing requests.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Sales for stock movements, returns, and adjustments.

5. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Tracking

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation across all company accounts.
  • Track cash flow: inflows, outflows, and projected balances.
  • Maintain updated cash position reports for daily operations.

6. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management reports including:
  • Income & expense summary
  • Sales vs. expenses
  • AR/AP aging
  • Inventory variance
  • Petty cash liquidation
  • Assist in budget monitoring and variance analysis.

7. Compliance, Filing & Documentation

  • Ensure proper filing of receipts, vouchers, invoices, and financial records.
  • Coordinate with external accountants for BIR compliance (VAT, EWT, 1701/1702, etc.).
  • Support audit requirements and provide needed financial documents.

8. Administrative & Support Tasks

  • Liaise with banks for deposits, withdrawals, and official documents.
  • Assist in preparing payroll summaries when needed (optional based on company).
  • Support Finance and Admin team in other clerical or accounting-related tasks.Benefits:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related course.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, Xero or similar).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.

Pay: Php19, Php24,000.00 per month
