The HR Associate will assist in the day-to-day HR operations of the hotel, ensuring a positive working environment and smooth administration of human resource functions. This position supports the HR department in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for hotel positions.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and ensure all documentation is completed.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR inquiries.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives and maintaining a positive work culture.

Training and Development:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions for hotel staff.
  • Maintain records of employee training and development activities.

Compliance and Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, hotel policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.
  • Process employee leaves, attendance, and performance documentation.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Provide support in managing employee inquiries.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the performance review process, including scheduling evaluations and collecting feedback.

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with hotel policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive data appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Mondays to Saturdays work schedule
  • May require occasional evening work.
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
