We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience with web frameworks (such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django), and a deep understanding of building and integrating APIs for scalable applications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python.
  • Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for internal and external use.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and data sources into existing systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to implement features and improve performance.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  • Optimize existing systems for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Write clear documentation for developed APIs and backend components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Python development.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
  • Experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Pytest or unittest.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
