The Financial Analyst has the primary responsibility to understand the operations of his/her respective entity; collect, analyze and interpret financial data; instigate budget preparing and conduct budget monitoring; prepare financial reports and give recommendations to the management team to improve the entity's financial performance.

Financial Data Management

  • Coordinates with Accounting Department in collecting financial data.

  • Ensures the accuracy of collected financial data.

  • Increases productivity be developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.

  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

  • Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.

  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.

  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

  • Recommends actions by analyzing results and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

Corporate Planning and Finance

  • In-charge of the creation and maintenance of the Financial model.

  • Prepare presentation of any capital raising activity.

  • Conducts and review valuation of assets and companies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.

Work Experience : With at least 1-2 years of work-related experience in Financial Management

Technical Skills : Financial Data Analysis; Data interpretation;
