Under the supervision of Production Manager, controls and monitors production processes, supervises activities of foremen, and leadmen and see to it that they perform their work at the right quantity and quality. Implement the correct usage of raw materials, production supplies and man-hour spent, including the strict enforcement of safety rules and regulations.

DAILY PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES/DUTIES

  1. Ensures that above objectives are communicated to and properly executed by subordinates and are assessed and updated as needed.

  2. Monitors production processes and reports to Supervisor any abnormalities observed.

  3. Supervises work of Production, ensuring smooth flow of activities in their work center and ensures that subordinates perform their work safely, on time, at the right quantity and quality.

  4. Records daily completed activities every end of shift.

  5. Checks the equipment status and the production activities of CE production.

  6. Prepares requisition of materials and supplies.

  7. Solves and/ or refer production problems to Supervisor.

  8. Participates in the prevention and control of his work center's waste in supplies, energy, manpower and overhead costs.

  9. Updates and maintains production records. 10. Performs other work-related functions as may be assigned by his superior.

Periodical Duties

  1. Evaluates the variances of the actual versus the standard cost and recommends action to Immediate Superior.

  2. Assists Engineering and Maintenance personnel on the assigned activities during shutdown and supervises the shutdown activities in his work area.

  3. Prepares weekly working schedule and personnel attendance record.

Manpower

  1. Directs assigned manpower. Offers counsel, guidance or coaching as required to meet goals/targets and to correct unnecessary behavior/s.

  2. Interviews applicants for Production Workers and conducts orientation of new workers on plant safety programs, documented procedures and work instructions.

  3. Suggests training needs for his subordinates and updates training plans.

Qualifications Required

  1. Education: Electrical Engineering Major in Process Automation

  2. Experience: Fresh Graduates are very much welcome to apply

Knowledge and Training Needed (Preferred)

  1. General orientation and familiarization on documented procedures and work instructions

  2. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 Awareness (IMS) / QHSE Policy
