Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. The role ensures compliance with government regulations, company policies, and reporting requirements while maintaining confidentiality and providing support to employees on payroll-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule, including salary, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations on taxes, contributions, and other statutory requirements (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and documentation.
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Handle payroll inquiries and provide assistance to employees regarding compensation and benefits.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee updates, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
• Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in payroll processing or related HR/finance function is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, government reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with HRIS/payroll software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
