Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our construction team. The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems according to specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, working with a variety of piping materials, and using relevant tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes and fittings (e.g., steel, copper, PVC, HDPE) based on plans and specifications.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
  • Lay out pipe routes, mark reference points, and determine required pipe lengths and fittings.
  • Install supports, hangers, brackets, and related components for pipe systems.
  • Inspect, test, and repair piping systems using pressure tests and leak detection methods.
  • Perform welding, brazing, soldering, or adhesive bonding when required.
  • Coordinate with foremen, engineers, and other trades (e.g., welders, plumbers, electricians) for proper integration of systems.
  • Follow safety protocols, including the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) set by DOLE.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Assist in lifting, hoisting, and positioning of materials on-site.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational course completer (TESDA Pipefitting NC II or NC III preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a pipe fitter in construction, preferably in telecom or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of various piping systems such as water lines, drainage, fire protection, air, gas, or oil systems.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, pipe threading machines, welding machines, and cutting torches.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces, heights, or under adverse site conditions.

Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Willing to be assigned to various project locations in the Philippines.
