Minimum Qualifications:

  • relevant experience as Pipefitter / Pipe Installer
  • willing to work on a project basis only
  • can start immediately (with valid NBI)
  • willing to work long hours, weekends or holidays

A Pipefitter basically lays out, assembles, installs and maintain pipe system, pipe supports and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment that may carry chemicals, acids and gases. On a daily basis, he cuts, bends, welds, thread and solder pipes according to blueprints / drawings and specifications.

Ø Reads blueprints, drawings and specifications to plan the layout and installation of pipes (e.g. overhead, underground)

Ø Measures, cuts, bevels, threads and bends pipes, tubings and ducts

Ø Secures pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets and clamps

Ø Joins / Connects pipes and components using welding and soldering techniques

Ø Tests piping system for leaks and pipng system perfromance

Ø Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance

Ø Coordinates with other team members (e.g. electricians, plumbers etc.)

Ø Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term, Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php Php700.00 per day
