About the Role

We're hiring a
Data Security Engineer
who will take ownership of daily PKI operations, enterprise HSM administration, and cryptographic services that keep the organization protected. You'll work onsite in
Manila, Philippines
, supporting mission-critical security systems.

JD_Data Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and administer enterprise PKI systems (X.509, SSL/TLS, certificates).
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HSMs — especially
    Thales
    ,
    Utimaco
    , and
    Centagate Crypto modules
    .
  • Perform key ceremonies, key rotation, and secure key storage.
  • Monitor HSM performance, capacity, and audit logs.
  • Support cryptographic services and troubleshoot related incidents.
  • Automate PKI/HSM tasks using
    Python
    or
    PowerShell
    .
  • Integrate cryptographic services with applications using standard APIs and protocols.
  • Document configurations, SOPs, and incident responses.
  • Participate in on-call duty for critical security infrastructure.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience in Data Security / Cryptography engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of
    X.509
    ,
    SSL/TLS
    , and core PKI components.
  • Proven expertise in operating and maintaining enterprise HSMs (Thales or Utimaco).
  • Experience administering
    Windows
    and
    Linux
    servers hosting security components.
  • Experience with security tools mentioned in the JD.
  • Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with ITSM tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
