Position Title:

Finance Operations & Collections Specialist

Type:

Full-time

Location:

90% Remote, occasional on-site reporting may be required for tasks such as document signing or other operational needs.

Hours:

Flexible schedule, as long as within PH working hours

Job Summary

The Finance Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the financial health of the organization by managing collections and a broad range of finance operational tasks. This position is primarily responsible for accounts receivable collections but also supports other functions such as accounts payable, payment processing, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. The role demands high accuracy, strong coordination skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable / Collections:

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments, both online and offline, to ensure timely collections.

  • Maintain AR aging reports and proactively contact customers for payment.

  • Resolve discrepancies or disputes related to invoices and payments.

  • Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts.

  • Manage and process retail Purchase Orders (PO), ensuring accurate details placed by the customer.

Bank Reconciliation & Treasury Support:

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure records are accurate and complete.

  • Track fund movements and support treasury-related documentation.

  • Assist in managing company cash flows, collection schedules and payment schedules.

Finance Operations & Reporting:

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings by preparing schedules and reports along with other team members.

  • Maintain financial records, filing systems, and audit trails.

  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
