Job Purpose
The Operations & Sales Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day sourcing and operations activities while actively driving sales and business growth. This role ensures that diverse client requirements are met effectively by handling procurement, supplier relations, and order fulfillment, while also expanding the client base and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Sourcing
- Oversee end-to-end sourcing process for a wide variety of client needs (supplier identification, quotation, negotiation, purchase, and delivery).
- Establish and maintain strong supplier/vendor partnerships across different product categories and industries.
- Monitor and coordinate logistics, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement operating procedures to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients from various industries and business sectors.
- Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Design and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts.
Leadership & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, operational efficiency, and market trends.
- Recommend strategies for growth, new products, and service improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, operations, or procurement; preferably in B2B, e-commerce, or sourcing.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-handling skills.
- Highly organized, results-driven, and adaptable to a dynamic business environment.
- Proficiency in digital tools, MS Office, and e-commerce platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with diverse industries or multi-category sourcing.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, etc.).
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability.
