This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to plan, write, design, schedule, and manage our presence across multiple channels — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will excel in content creation (both copy and visuals) and know how to tailor messaging and creative for different audiences while staying consistent with our brand voice and strategy.

Schedule: 30 hrs/week, Flexible PST Hours

What You'll Do

  • Lead content creation — writing, designing, and producing engaging posts, stories, reels, and campaigns.

  • Adapt content tone and style for three key verticals:

    • Products (B2C): Showcase photo booth hardware/software with benefits-driven messaging.

    • Event Services (B2B): Highlight activations, conferences, premieres, and seasonal campaigns with storytelling emphasis.

    • Affinity Groups (Community): Write insider, expert-leaning content for photo booth operators with a balanced, direct tone.

  • Manage day-to-day publishing across multiple platforms.

  • Build and execute social media campaigns, ensuring platform-specific best practices.

  • Collaborate on review, update, and approvals cycles (currently managed in Airtable).

  • Track and maintain a strong publishing calendar.

  • Engage with communities in line with platform culture and brand goals.

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of professional social media management experience.

  • MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE THE CLIENT'S ASSESSMENT

  • Proven excellence in content creation (copy + visuals) — samples will be required.

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills in English.

  • Design/layout skills for posts, stories, and reels.

  • Experience with scheduling and publishing (native platforms or tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Sked, etc.).

  • Campaign planning and execution skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, including calendar and approvals management.

Highly Regarded

  • Video editing skills for social media content.

  • Creative flair for engaging and dynamic visual storytelling.

  • Ability to respond to specific content creation requests during the hiring process.

We are open to your recommendations for management tools. Currently using Airtable for content calendar, drafting, review, and approvals.
