Job DescriptionWe are looking for high-performing Java Backend Developers with strong expertise in banking and an interest in digital assets and blockchain. Our team is responsible for implementing Avaloq's digital assets solution, building next-generation applications that drive innovation in the financial industry. We seek talented professionals at multiple seniority levels to join our team and help shape the future of banking technology.

How to ApplyPlease submit your CV and a cover letter explaining why you are an excellent fit for this role. Be sure to indicate the seniority level you are applying for. Your Key TasksDevelop and implement scalable and secure backend services for banking and digital assets.

Contribute to high-performance architecture and establish software design patterns. Drive best coding practices and maintain high code quality through Unit and Integration tests. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.

Take ownership of key backend components and deliver robust solutions. Align with architects to ensure compliance with software policies and patterns. Stay informed about emerging trends in banking technology, digital assets, and blockchain.

Qualifications6 years of backend development experience, including:Java 8 , Spring Boot, RESTful APIsKubernetes for container orchestration

Liquibase, Spring JPA, Spring SecurityCloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Experience with PL/SQL and workflow automation tools (Flowable). Basic banking and digital asset domain knowledge. Exposure to DevOps and release management.

Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving. Additional Skills (Bonus)Demonstrated passion for banking, digital assets, and blockchain or previous experience in this field. Familiarity with full-stack development (JavaScript & Angular).
