Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain a modular Unity project framework for rapid game development

Implement core multiplayer systems (matchmaking, sync, room management)

Create base templates for hyper-casual games: input, UI, progression, monetization

Integrate services: analytics, in-app purchases, and live updates

Optimize build size and memory usage for low-end mobile devices

Collaborate with game designers and gameplay engineers to support multiple game prototypes

Build tooling and editor extensions to streamline developer workflow

Standardize code across all games

Peer-programming and training new game developers

Tech Stack

  1. Unity (URP or Built-in), C#

  2. Photon Fusion, Unity Netcode for GameObjects

  3. Firebase / PlayFab / custom backend

  4. Unity Addressables, Remote Config, Unity Cloud Build

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of Unity development experience, ideally in mobile

  2. Strong understanding of Unity's component system and performance optimization

  3. Experience building multiplayer mobile games (real-time or async)

  4. Strong grasp of game architecture, SOLID principles, and modular codebases

  5. Familiar with hyper-casual systems: short loops, ad monetization, daily rewards
