DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment like knives, pans, and food scales

· Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh

· Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients, cooking food promptly.

· Delegate tasks to kitchen staff

· Inform staff about daily specials

· Ensure appealing plate presentation

· Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

· Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers, coaching Kitchen Helpers for optimum output of tasks

· Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by the Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

* College Level

* Proven experience as a Cook

* At least two (2) years working experience in the food industry

* Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management

* Ability to divide responsibilities and monitoring progress

* Outstanding communication and leadership skills

* Credentials in health and safety training

* Able to work in fast-paced environment

*Excellent communication and organization skills

* Dedicated to food quality and safety
