What you will be doing:

Responsible for establishing and maintaining an information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

  1. Lead the Project Management Office and Certification Activities for ISO27001 as well as the annual re-certification process of both ISO 90001 and ISO Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture. Advise appropriate senior leadership or Authorizing Official of changes affecting the organization's cybersecurity posture.
  2. Assessment of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
  3. Acquire and manage the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support Technology and Transformation (T&T) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
  4. Collect and maintain data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting.
  5. Communicate the value of Technology and Transformation (T&T) security throughout all levels of the organization stakeholders. Ensure that security improvement actions are evaluated, validated, and implemented as required.
  6. Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated for the network environment. Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the continuity planning for that system and/or organization(s).
  7. Experience in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications to meet business and user requirements.

What you will need to be great in this role:

  1. An undergraduate degree or post-graduate degree in Computer Science or MIS
  2. 5+ years of information security and technology risk management experience in complex environments.
  3. Preferred: CISSP, CISM, or similar is an advantage
  4. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, network architecture, encryption technologies, and threat detection systems.
  5. Cybersecurity Trends: Staying updated with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in information security.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ensuring compliance.
  7. Security Policies: Developing and implementing comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  8. Incident Response: Knowledge of incident response protocols and disaster recovery planning.
