What Is the Advanced Software Developer Residency?

The Advanced Developer Residency is a paid, full-time 2-year program designed for experienced Filipino developers seeking to sharpen their technical depth and tackle cutting-edge technologies.

You'll work side-by-side with Senior Engineers on advanced systems — from WebAssembly and AI-driven features to large-scale backend architecture.

This is not a training course. This is real engineering immersion, designed to take you from skilled to exceptional.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with senior engineers on real-world systems and high-scale codebases.
• Deepen your knowledge of backend performance, WebAssembly, and distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions, sprints, and peer reviews.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship and periodic performance evaluations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 3–7 years of solid coding experience in professional or freelance settings.
• Expertise in JavaScript, React, , or TypeScript.
• Understanding of backend frameworks, APIs, and database management.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Reliable internet setup and full-time commitment to remote collaboration (8 PM – 6 AM PH time).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with AI models, WebAssembly, or machine learning pipelines.
• Leadership experience or prior mentorship roles.
• Portfolio or GitHub contributions showcasing advanced projects.
