We are hiring on behalf of a well-established Australian drafting firm specializing in high-quality commercial and residential joinery projects. With a growing portfolio across sectors such as healthcare, education, retail, and hospitality, the client is known for delivering tailored, detail-driven cabinetry and fit-out solutions.

They are currently seeking a Joinery Drafter with strong Microvellum experience and a solid background in Australian standards to join their remote team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed shop drawings and documentation using Microvellum
  • Interpret architectural and interior plans to produce accurate joinery details
  • Generate cutting lists, material take-offs, and CNC-ready files
  • Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and project specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers and production teams to meet deadlines
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design changes

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Microvellum for joinery or cabinetry drafting is required
  • Prior exposure to Australian joinery standards and documentation is a must-have
  • Proficiency in joinery construction and production methods
  • Ability to interpret architectural plans and translate them into manufacturing drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
