Visa Counsellor

Job Responsibilities:

• Gather and thoroughly review documents submitted by clients to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with visa application requirements.

• Create a Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement based on client information and documents.

• Process new visa applications from offshore clients and renewals from onshore clients in a timely and efficient manner.

• Encode and submit visa applications through the Immigration portals of Canada or Australia.

• Monitor the status of all visa applications, including emergencies and high-profile cases, to ensure timely updates and resolution.

• Stay informed of changes to laws, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to visa cases in Canada or Australia to maintain compliance and ensure accurate processing.

• Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their applications and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Job Qualifications:

• A graduate of a Bachelor's degree.

• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks according to importance and urgency with a healthy drive to meet and exceed set goals.

• Excellent writing, research, and fact-checking abilities.

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines while providing a high level of customer service.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Motivated, energetic, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software.
